This course is an introduction to elementary toplogy. Topics include set theory, metric spaces, topological spaces, connectedness, homotopy.
Final Exam: Wednesday, December 13, 6 PM
Grades: There will be 2 exams during regular class hours, worth 150 points each. The comprehensive final exam will be worth 200 points. Homework and/or class presentations will be worth 200 points. Homework will be assigned and collected weekly. Grades will be awarded as follows: 90% A, 80% B, 70% C, 60% D.
