For a new puzzle suppose that three cities are located on a flat plane.  City A is exactly 56 miles due west of city B.  City C is directly south of city B.  The only other piece of information is that a flight around the triangle formed by these cities, flying at a constant speed, takes 2 hours and 20 minutes with 50 minutes of that time used covering the distance between cities B and C.  The puzzle is to determine the distance from city A to
city C.
