I. The following minutes were approved:

General Faculty, October 23, 2003

II. Recommendations to the faculty made by the following committees were approved:

Faculty Council, October 21, 2003

Faculty Senate, October 21, 2003

Faculty Senate, November 4, 2003

Graduate Programs Committee, November 6, 2003

Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, November 11, 2003

III. Candidates petitioned to graduate Fall semester, 2003 were approved.

IV. The Moderator reminded all faculty of today's upcoming budget meeting, and encouraged attendance and participation in the process.

V. Dr. Rossbacher made the following comments:

a. Thanks to all from the SPSU Foundation for their fund drive participation;

b. A recent ICAPP study ranks SPSU in the top five for added income/earning potential of earned degrees;

c. Followup on a recent European business development group's positive experience with SPSU;

d. A presentation followed detailing the Foundation's proposed acquisition of Life University's land and improvements, followed by a question and answer session thereon.

VI. The following announcements were made:

a. A reminder of upcoming Graduate Programs orientations;

b. A reminder of the upcoming Faculty/Staff luncheon.

VII. A motion was made and carried to adjourn.
