Southern Polytechnic State University Division of Student Affairs Mission Statement:
The mission of the
Division of Student Affairs acknowledges the University's vision of a
diverse campus community. The division understands that essential general
education competencies provide opportunities for critical thinking,
problem-solving, effective communication, ethical deliberations, and
incorporate multinational perspectives.
Specific to its
interpretation of the University's mission, the Division understands the
unique developmental progressions of each student and integrates this
understanding into support programs and service systems outside the
classroom to enhance independent and interdependent functioning and
participation in society.
